Some Basic Knowledge for the Average Joe about ranks

Heres just a few things I think the Average person should know about ranks when they are playing Desolator's TTT server. Some pretty small things, but things I wish I had known going into it. This guide is hopefully going to become the ultimate beginners guide to ranks, and I hope after a few more guides to be able to make one forum that links all of these little tutorials together. Hopefully other community members can pitch in on some things I should add and maybe even help with creation of well writen tutorials.



Ranks:

Here are the ranks from top to lowest as far as power goes on the server.

Owner:
Desolator is the owner of the TTT server and is in charge of all donations, and direct promotions.

Abilities: He has no limit to his abilities other than a lack of coding of the abilities into the game. He is literally "god" on the server. But hes a real cool guy so dont be worried .


Developer:
Currently the developer is Ludicium and he codes the server in cooperation with Desolator. He is the heavy guns as far as coding knowledge and is pretty much a demi god to Desolator. He has all the same commands as desolator but if he does something stupid something will happen.

Abilities: (same as owner)

Super Admin:
A super admin is pretty much the leader of admins. They have a lot more rights than a normal admin does, with the added bonus of being higher up in the grand scheme of things. Currently there is only 1 super admin to my knowledge, but more can be added at any time.

Abilities: He has a lot of abilities almost as much as the developer may have. He has a few less though, and is held far more accountable as he sets and example for all admins etc.

Admin:
An admin is pretty much your standard authority figure. They have a lot of rights and powers over the average player, but they arent like all powerful beings. They are very strictly watched, and are a fairly populated staff position. This doesnt mean you shouldn't respect them, because they keep the main control of the server and will not hesitate to punish you when you are in need. All and all respect these players, but understand they are not the top and if they abuse there is consiquences.

Abilities: Ban, Kick, Mute, ragdoll, teleport, gag, slay, damage logs, probably a few more that im missing. They are basically equiped to handle nearly any problem an average user could make.


Operator:
Operators are pretty much the moderators of the server. They have a little bit of power, but all and all they are many with little power. They are equiped to handle the most common problem a user create's but arent trusted yet to make decisions that could remove a player from the game permanently.

Abilities: Kick, 60 min ban, slay, gag,


VIP:
These are the donators of the server. They payed $5.00 to the server in order to get special privelages and small advantages in the game. They are important because they keep the server alive and running at max potential. VIP although technically apart of the staff, they are more of your average player in the grand scheme of things.

Abilities: Special donator perks (read VIP zone benefits for more info), Slay,

That concludes the ranks of the server and what each rank's roll is on the server, and what they are equipped with to prevent unjust behaviour ingame.

VIPs no longer have slay. It was overly abused.
