Server Lag and Hosting

Okay, whenever I try to join the server, it is either not there, or it is lagging like crazy, everyone seems to say it is ddos, but I don't think that it is always true, I think it might just be some problems with whoever hosts the server and such.

Ludicium, do you know why it is lagging so badly? Maybe if it is due to who hosts our server you and Desolator should get someone else to, if you can, and if not, is there a way to get rid of the lag or find and stop whoever is ddos'ing?

I've been unable to even see the server for a couple days now.

ddos...um hopefully whoever is angry doesn't hold that big of a grudge, otherwise if gforce's alleged roomers of a firewall fall to propagate, i will personally see to the deterring of ddos via either amazon ec2 or some other exceptional VM hosting that can migrate us instantly once ddos begins. EX server up normally on gforce, ddos begins, switch to amazon server, ddos resumes again, amazon moves us to a different continent and says fuck you.
