Well, did you all hear the news? They passed amendment one, banned gay marriage. I just can't believe how retarded it is, I guess I live in the south now, because we are the exact same now.

Funny thing is, I didn't know ONE person who agreed with the amendment.

On a more serious note, fuck that. I don't get why non-gays give even the slightest fuck about whether or not gay people get married.

I don't see anything wrong with being yourself, you are only gay due to genetics, it's not a choice. Banning gay marriage is like not letting you get married because of your eye color.
Also, if you don't like gay marriage because of your religion, keep it to yourself, I'm mad that they banned gay marriage in NC when it states separation of state and church in the constitution as well.

Plain and simple. Gay Marriage should be allowed but the US Gov. cannot force a church to perform the ceremony. It should be up to a church if they want to wed a homosexual couple or not; if there are none in your area and you can't afford to go to a neighboring state for a day then have a third party do it. There are a lot of ordained ministers who arn't associated with a church.

IDC, I just don't see why it's so "wrong".

I think that it is stupid for anybody to think that they have the right to tell gays that they cannot legally get married. Being gay is a gentic and if they want to act on it its there own right. No government church or any body else has a right to tell them that they cant have a gay marriage. It is there choice so if you dont like suck it up.

The whole government preventing/banning gay marriage is stupid. If two people love each other then they should be able to get married. Plain and simple.
