My little sister's favorite game is LBP, she's 7.
LBP would be eligible for her list seeing as she's a child still.

SFB was a great game too. Not my childhood though.

Number one: This is a tie between Super Smash Bros Melee, and Gauntlet Dark Legacy, so they're both #1.
2: Super Ghosts and Goblins. It is a super nintendo game, and it was goddamn impossible. But super fun.
3: Mario. Just... Mario. Mario covered everything. Super nintendo, gamecube, loved him on all of them.
4: Team Fortress Classic and Counter Strike (not source). My first childhood internet games.
5: Diablo, 1+2. Low on the list because I never got any co-op done on 2, which was at least 1/4 of the appeal.

Speshul mention: Crash Bandicoot. I played a couple of his games, and I liked them well enough.

Gauntlet, where you fight dragon 50 times to get to level 60, then you buy stats to 800+ each.

Then you buy 100 Lightning Hammers and kill the Wraith 50 times to get to level 99. Theeeen you finish the game.
